Safety

Extreme Electronics will not be held responsible for any electric shock, burn or injury. These experiments are done entirely at your own risk.

The Experiments on these pages all have an element of risk. High voltage is dangerous. Each Source detailed here has varying levels of hazard, none are totally safe.

Ensure that when you are touching any part of the experiment that the power turned off to the power source and short out the high voltage source with a safety conductor. Do not apply the conductor whilst the power is on and always use an insulated conductor, insulated to at least the voltage you are dealing with.

Pay special attention to any capacitors used in the experiments. Although many of the sources shown are not in themselves powerful are enough to kill you, the charge in a capacitor may be.

Tesla coils have their own risks, please read Tesla Coil Safety
