The Mini Wimshurst Electrostatic Generator kit is designed for older kids (or adults) to learn about “static” electricity by actually building a working Wimshurst generator. A small Wimshurst Electrostatic Generator that will achieve up to 60,000 volts of “static” electricity. The Mini Wimshurst Electrostatic Generator kit is a complete Wimshurst system, comprising of a high speed motor driving two rotating disks, two PCB neutraliser bars with 4 brush contacts, two high voltage capacitors, two discharge balls and rods and two PCB charge collectors. Supplied with a switched battery box for 4 AA cells.
